B.I.D. Looking For Festival Square Tree
The B.I.D. is looking ahead to Christmas and the holidays
in their quest for a tree for Festival Square.
If you have a fir tree which is approximately 25 feet high and
accessible by heavy equipment, we would be happy to consider
it. The B.I.D. will pay to have the tree cut down and transported
to Festival Square.
If you are the donor of the tree, you can participate in the Santa Parade
and can throw the switch for the lighting of the tree.
We are always considering where we will acquire the tree for the next celebration; so, if you have one that you are thinking of cutting down in
the next year perhaps you can wait until next November, and it can grace Festival Square for the Holiday Season.
Please call 845-343-8075 if you think your tree will make a good tree for next year's Holiday.

B.I.D. Farmers Market
The Middletown Farm Market opened on June 14, 2008
with many vendors returning. As the season goes on,
there will be a full complement of vendors, many who
have been here before.
This year, there are vegetable growers, fruit growers,
informational booths, flowers and plants, baked goods,
refreshments, sausages, bread and meat, and lunch or breakfast.
It is hoped that there will be additional vendors as the fruits and
vegetables mature.
One of our booths featured a saxophone player, who added to the
ambience of the market.
The market is on Erie Way between Cottage and Grove Streets.
There is ample parking for those people who want to drive in.
